Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of Recommended (the "service"), provided by Local SEO Bot LLC. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Recommended tells a local business owner whether AI assistants name their business when someone asks for a business like theirs. We ask ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Claude a set of real customer questions on your behalf, count how often your business is named, and show you what changed over time. We may add, change or remove features.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the business you register.

3. Google account access

The review features require you to connect your Google account and grant access to your Google Business Profile through Google OAuth. By connecting your account you authorize us to read the data those features need. How we handle Google user data is described in our Privacy Policy, and our use complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke our access at any time through your Google Account settings.

4. Trial, billing and cancellation

The free trial lasts 3 days, requires a card up front, and converts to a paid subscription automatically when it ends. If you do not want to be charged, cancel before the 3 days are up.

• Recommended costs $99 per month, per location, or $950 per year, per location if you choose annual billing.
• Each location you add is charged separately. Adding a location during a billing period adds a charge for that location.
• By subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel.
• Fees are billed in advance and, except as expressly stated, are non refundable.
• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation during the trial means no charge. Cancellation after that takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then.

We do not offer a money-back guarantee on this service, and no ranking or placement guarantee applies to it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to violate any law or third-party rights;
• Submit false business information, or use the service to attempt to manipulate an AI assistant or a Google product in violation of that provider's policies;
• Interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service;
• Resell or provide the service to third parties except under an agreement with us.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the business information and content you provide. You grant us a licence to use, store and process it as needed to operate the service, which includes sending the questions you approve to the AI assistants named above.

7. Third-party services

The service depends on third parties, including the AI assistants it queries, the vendor that carries those queries, Google, and our payment provider. Your use of those platforms is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or their answers. They are listed in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

A score is a measurement of what AI assistants said when we asked, not a guarantee of what they will say next time. AI answers change constantly, and we do not control what any AI assistant says about your business or anyone else. We do not guarantee that you will be named, that a score will rise, or that being named produces customers. This is explained in more detail on our AI disclosure page.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Local SEO Bot LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the service or other users. On termination, the provisions that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will revise the Last updated date above and provide reasonable notice. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute will be the state and federal courts located in Ohio.
